This is a great sandwich with lots of great flavor. I made this the other day out of items I had in my walk-in. It is great comfort food on these long, cold Winter days. So, you ready… Let’s get into the kitchen.

Ingredients For sandwich essentials:bbq pulled pork grilled cheese
- PLAN/PURCHASE

2 slicefresh bread, i prefer sourdough

2 Tbspmayonnaise
-
1/4 csharp cheddar, freshly shredded

1/4 cpepper-jack, freshly shredded
-
1/2 cbbq pulled pork, slightly warmed

3 Tbspcoleslaw
- OPTIONAL ITEMS
-
bbq sauce to taste
-
fresh potato chips, or fries on the side

1PREP/PREPARE

2Chef’s Note: I do not have my usual images for this image, but it was so dang good, I thought I would post it… So yummy.

3Gather your Ingredients (mise en place).

4Mix the warm (not hot) shredded pork, and the two cheeses together in a small bowl.

5Chef’s Note: If the mixture seems a bit dry, add a tablespoon of BBQ sauce.

6Brush the mayonnaise on one side of each of the slices of bread.

7Place one slice of bread, mayonnaise side down into a skillet, over medium-low heat.

8Add the pork/cheese mixture to the top of the bread, and top with the coleslaw.

9Add the second slice of bread, mayonnaise side up.

10Cook, until the bread is nice and brown, and the cheese is melted, about 3 – 4 minutes per side.

11PLATE/PRESENT

12Slice corner-to-corner, and serve with some BBQ sauce (for dipping), some chips, and a nice pickle wedge. Enjoy.
