Ingredients For pork pitas

  • 1/2 c
    olive oil
  • 1
    small red onion finely chopped
  • 3 clove
    garlic chopped
  • 4 Tbsp
    fresh lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp
    red wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried oregano
  • 1 tsp
    dried mint
  • 1 1/2 lb
    pork loin, trimmed of silver skin and excess fat
  • salt and pepper
  • tzatziki sauce
  • pitas

How To Make pork pitas

  • 1
    Mix all ingredients except pork. Trim pork as described, and cut into 1-inch cubes. Marinate 2 hours to overnight.
  • 2
    Take pork from marinade and place on skewers and grill, or remove excess marinade and cook till done in pan on stove.

    Serve with pitas and tzatziki sauce.
