Ingredients For p. b. & j french toast

  • 2 slice
    thick bread
  • peanut butter of choice
  • jelly of choice
  • 2
    eggs
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • powdered sugar to sprinkle
  • maple syrup or honey

How To Make p. b. & j french toast

  • 1
    Lay the bread on the counter. Spread peanut butter on one slice and jelly on the other. Put them together.
  • 2
    Whip the eggs in a shallow bowl. Dredge the sandwich in the eggs on both sides.
  • 3
    Melt the butter in a skillet. Once hot add the sandwich and cook until browned about 3 minutes. Turn and cook until browned on the other side.

    Place on a plate and cut in half. Sift the powered sugar over top and drizzle with syrup
