Who doesn't like grilled cheese sandwiches?? No one I know. They are perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner, served with your favourite sides like french fries, salads or tomato soup. Always reminds me of my childhood. Today, I am sharing my favourite grilled cheese. It's quick and easy to make and it doesn't have a lot of ingredients. I chose a lovely fresh French bread which I sliced to my preference. I also used my favourite cheese, Jarlsberg, and beautiful fresh sweet lobster meat. Please make sure to watch them closely in the pan because they can burn quickly.

Ingredients For kato's favourite grilled cheese

  • 2 slice
    french bread or your favorite bread
  • 1 tsp
    butter
  • 1 tsp
    Miracle Whip or mayonnaise
  • 1 slice
    Jarlsberg cheese
  • 1
    lobster, shelled, meat chilled
  • 1 pinch
    fine sea salt
  • 1 pinch
    freshly ground black pepper

How To Make kato's favourite grilled cheese

    Slice preferred bread to your size preference. Add butter to one slice and Miracle Whip to the other slice.

    Add the cheese slice to the bread slice with butter. Add the lobster meat to the side with the Miracle Whip. Lightly salt and pepper the lobster meat.

    Place the slice with the cheese over the lobster slice. Add to a lightly heated pan. Cook for 2 1/2 minutes per side, or until the cheese melts and you have a nice golden colour. If your cheese hasn't melted enough, place the sandwich in the microwave for 1 minute.
