grilled peanut butter and banana sandwich

My husband really enjoys peanut butter and banana sandwiches. So, when I had prepared this Grilled Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich. Not only did he enjoy it, but I did as well.

Ingredients For grilled peanut butter and banana sandwich

  • 2 slice
    bread
  • softened butter, use desired amount as needed to spread on both sides of bread
  • 2 Tbsp
    creamy peanut butter (spread 1 tablespoon on each slice of bread)
  • 1
    banana, sliced in half (not all of the banana will be used in preparing this sandwich)
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 c
    granulated sugar

How To Make grilled peanut butter and banana sandwich

    Spread 1 Tablespoon of creamy peanut butter on each slice of bread; then set aside.

    Place slices of banana on one slice of the peanut butter bread. (As seen in photo.)

    Spread butter on both out-sides of bread/sandwich. Then place in 10-inch skillet over medium heat.

    Lightly cook/brown the sandwich in skillet over medium heat, until golden brown on both sides of the buttered bread. (About 2 minutes & 30 seconds per each side.)

    Remove sandwich from skillet, then place one side of sandwich in the combination of cinnamon and sugar. As seen in photo which I've displayed.

    Let sandwich sit on a plate for a minute before slicing in half, then enjoy your sandwich.
