grilled peanut butter and banana sandwich

My husband loves peanut butter and bananas, so years ago I came up with this sandwich. Which we both enjoy.

Ingredients For grilled peanut butter and banana sandwich

  • 4 tablespoons peanut butter (spread 2 tablespoons on each slice of bread.)
  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 banana, sliced (not all of the banana will be used in making this sandwich.)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar

How To Make grilled peanut butter and banana sandwich

    Lightly spread 2 Tablespoons of peanut butter on each slice of bread.

    Heat a 10-inch skillet over medium heat.
  • 3
    Place slices of banana on one slice of the peanut butter bread. Lightly press down. (I used 9 slices of the banana.)

    Spread butter on top and bottom of sandwich.

    Fry the sandwich until golden brown on each side, about 2 minutes per side.

    Sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture on top of bread.

    Serve and enjoy.
