fried banana peppers w/ fried green tomato on rye!
Was setting around and though of fried banana peppers. Then I was thinking about fried green tomatoes, well, why not do both! So, I did, with a couple slices rye bread with mayo!!!! OH it was GOOODDDD!!!!

Ingredients For fried banana peppers w/ fried green tomato on rye!

2 Tbspvegetables oil

4 to 5 mdbanana peppers, mild or hot, i used hot!

1 mdgreen tomato, sliced 3/8 thick

1 Tbspmayo
-
2 slicejewish rye bread
-
salt and pepper to taste
- BREADING!

1 ccorn meal
-
1/4 cflour
-
salt and pepper to taste
How To Make fried banana peppers w/ fried green tomato on rye!

2Get all ingredients together!!

3Put 2 tablespoons of vegetables oil in a skillet. Heat oil on medium-high. Slice the banana peppers and remove seed. Place in hot oil, fried.

4Fried the peppers until golden brown!

5Take peppers from skillet with a slotted spoon, and place on a paper towel lined plate.

6Meanwhile, take a medium green tomato and slice it into 3/8-inch thick. Place into breading and do both side of tomato. In the same skillet with same oil, with the heat set at medium-high, place tomato in hot oil. Fry until golden brown.

7Remove from skillet, and place on a paper towel lined plate.

8Take mayo and spread on both sides of bread. Place fried banana peppers on one side, then,

9place fried green tomato on top of banana peppers. Add salt and pepper to taste. Take other slice of bread and place on top of tomatoes. ENJOY!!!
