Ingredients For balsamic mushrooms & fontina grilled cheese sammie

2 Tbspbutter

1 Tbspolive oil

1 cwhite mushrooms thinly sliced

1 smshallot minced

1/2 tspdried thyme
-
3 Tbspbalsamic vinegar
-
1 tspred wine vinegar
-
salt and pepper to taste
-
1 cshredded fontina cheese
-
4 slicebread of choice

How To Make balsamic mushrooms & fontina grilled cheese sammie

1Add the butter and oil in a large skillet. Add the mushrooms, shallots, & thyme. Cook until mushrooms have given up their moisture. Add the vinegars and cook until the liquid has evaporated. Season with salt and pepper

2Remove the mushrooms from the skillet. Wipe out the skillet. Butter each slide of bread. on one side. Place 2 slices the butter side down in the pan over med heat. Top with mushroom, & cheese and the other slice of bread butter side up.

3When the bread is browned on one side. Flip to the other side pressing down and cook until cheese is melted. Serve
