This is our family's Easter Ham. It is so tasty and easy to prepare. It's definitely a Family Favorite

Ingredients For easter ham

One15 to 18 pound ham, (butt)

whole cloves

3 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1/2 cmustard, spicy brown

1 1/4 cdr. pepper soda

3 Tbspapple cider vinegar
How To Make easter ham

1Pre- oven to 325°

2Score surface of ham in a diamond pattern. Insert cloves. Place ham in a large roasting pan with a rack on bottom. Tent with foil and bake approximately 2 to 2 1/2 hours, checking package directions for exact time.

3Meanwhile, in a sauce pan heat the brown sugar, mustard, vinegar and Dr. Pepper until bubbly. Cook until reduced and thick, about 15 minutes.

4After ham has been baking for 2 hours, remove foil and brush the glaze on ham, repeating every 20 minutes, returning ham to oven uncovered between brushings. When finished, remove from oven and let rest 15 minutes.
