Ingredients For flavourful honey mustard ribs

  • 1 kg
    baby back pork ribs
  • 1 c
    honey
  • 1 c
    yellow mustard
  • 1 or more Tbsp
    dried thyme
  • 1 tsp
    salt

How To Make flavourful honey mustard ribs

  • 1
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and turn on convection fan.
  • 2
Prepare ribs. Remove the tough membrane (fell) that covers the back side of the ribs. Use a spoon to help loosen it and peel it off. This makes the ribs more tender.
  • 3
Cut the rack in half and position the pieces so that they fit in an 8" X 8" baking pan.
  • 4
Whisk together the honey, mustard, thyme and salt and pour over the ribs, turning so they coat evenly.
  • 5
Cover tightly with a large piece of foil.
  • 6
Use a two-temperature cooking method. Bake for 15 minutes at 400 F, then, without opening the oven, reduce the heat to 300 F and continue baking until the meat easily comes off the bone- about 2 hours or so. Serve.
