Ingredients For country ribs with ginger bbq sauce

  • 3 lb
    country style ribs, sliced into large chunks
  • salt and pepper
  • oil
  • 1 sm
    onion, chopped
  • 4 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1
    inch piece of ginger, grated
  • 8 oz
    tomato sauce
  • 1/4 c
    chili sauce
  • 3 Tbsp
    dark brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp
    Worcestershire sauce

How To Make country ribs with ginger bbq sauce

    Place the ribs in a slow cooker. Season with salt and pepper.

    Add a little oil to a saute pan. Add the onion, garlic and ginger and cook 2 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook 20 minutes then pour over the ribs in the slow cooker.

    Cook on medium for 8 hours. If you like, strain the sauce, put through a degreaser and serve over the pork.
