4cored tart apples (granny smith), sliced into rings

1/4 cdark brown sugar, firmly packed

2 Tbspall purpose flour

1 chot water
-
1 Tbspwhite wine vinegar

1/2 craisins
How To Make whistling dixie pork chops

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2Brown the pork chops in small amount of fat in a skillet & sprinkle with salt & sage.

3Place in a casserole dish & top with the apple rings. Sprinkle with brown sugar.

4Add flour to the remaining fat in the skillet & blend.

5Add the water & vinegar & cook until thick, stirring constantly.

6Add the raisins to the vinegar mixture & then pour over chops.

7Bake for 1 hour.
