2 1/2 lbstew beef or deer

2 1/2 lbpork roast

1 lbdried lima beans

5 lbonion chopped

10 lbpotatoes

4 canstomatoes, canned and chopped, with liquid

2 canscorn kernels, fresh

2 canstomato paste

1/2 lbmargarine

1 bigred pepper, dried
How To Make traditional fourth day camp stew!!!

1Place hen,beef,pork,in large kettle and cover with water.bring to boil and reduce heat.cover simmer until tender.remove meats from broth and cool.reserve broth.remove meats from bones and chop.

2soak beans overnight in enough water to cover.drain and add to reserved broth.add onions,cook until beans are tender.peel potatoes dice.mash tomatoes.

3add the meats,potatoes,tomatoes to bean mixture.Add remaining ingredients and cook,stirring frequently,until potatoes are done and stew is thickened.
