I've been making chops like this for years, when I don't feel like fussing a lot. I never really considered it a recipe, but if you've never tried chops this way, you need to. No fuss and totally melt in your mouth delicious! My family requests them all the time. Hubby suggested I post this recipe as he said some may be happy to taste what they've been missing. Hard to believe something so simple can be so good! Enjoy!

Ingredients For ~totally mouth watering chops ~

  • 4 - 6
    boneless chops any thickness, just add more time to the baking
  • kosher
    salt
  • fresh
    cracked black pepper
  • 2 - 3 Tbsp
    oil for frying

How To Make ~totally mouth watering chops ~

    Preheat oven to 400 degree F. Get your iron skillet good and hot, add enough oil to coat the bottom. Salt and pepper chops on each side, evenly.

    Place in iron skillet or any oven proof skillet for that matter. Sear and fry on first side for 2 - 3 minutes. Turn to other side and fry another 2 minutes.

    Place pan in oven and bake for 15 - 20 minutes or until desired doneness. Plate and enjoy!
