tangy pork skillet
(1 rating)
I had some pork chops and didn't want to fix them the usual way. I wanted a sauce and didn't have time to marinade them before cooking. This recipe that I found hit the spot. My family loved them and even though I doubled the recipe, they didn't get enough. The sauce is delicious and can also be used on fish, chicken or turkey for a different flavor.

-
1/4 citalian dressing
-
1/4 cbarbecue sauce
-
1 tspchili powder
How To Make tangy pork skillet
-
1In a large non-stick skillet, season chops to taste, brown pork chops on one side over medium high heat. If the skillet is full, brown the chops in 2 batches so they brown well. ( I doubled my recipe and didn't overcook the chops).
-
2Remove browned chops to platter and keep warm.
-
3Add remaining ingredients to pan, stirring to blend. Return all chops to pan, and turn them so the browned side is up. (I browned both sides of the pork chops).
-
4Cover and simmer for 5 to 8 minutes, or until meat is tender.
