1 Tbsppeanut oil

4 clovegarlic minced

1inch piece ginger grated

8 ozshiitake mushrooms sliced

1 mdshallot chopped

1 lbground pork

2star anise

3 Tbspshaoxing wine

1/2 ozrock sugar or 2 tbsp brown sugar

2 Tbspmushroom soy sauce

1 Tbspdark soy sauce

1 Tbspoyster sauce

1 tspwhite pepper
-
2 cwater
-
1/2 cpreserved mustard stems

1/4 cgreen onions chopped

rice noodles cooked according to packge directions
How To Make taiwanese braised minced pork

1Add the oil to a large Wok or skillet. Add the ginger, garlic, shallots and mushrooms. Cook until softened and the mushrooms have given up their liquid. Add the ground pork and star anise.

2Cook until the pork is done. Add the shaoxing wine, rock sugar, mushroom soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, and white pepper. Add the water and bring to a boil.

3Simmer 20 minutes until most of the water is absorbed. Stir in the mustard stems and green onions. Remove the star anise Serve over rice noodles.
