Ingredients For tailgater chili

  • 3 lb
    italian sausage
  • 2 lg
    diced onions
  • 3
    yellow bell peppers, diced
  • 4 c
    kidney beans
  • #10 can
    tomato puree
  • 1 Tbsp
    pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    ground cumin
  • 1/2 c
    chili powder
  • 1/2 lb
    beef baste
  • 1 qt
    v-8

How To Make tailgater chili

  • 1
    Combine sausage, peppers, onions, base and spices in stockpot over med heat until sausage is cooked, stirring often. Remove from heat, drain lightly. Return to med heat and add all but V-8. Cook 30 min, stirring often. Adjust consistency with V-8 when done.
