Ingredients For sweet-n-spicy pork ribs

  • 3 lb
    baby back pork ribs
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 c
    bottled chili sauce
  • 1/2 c
    apricot preserves
  • 2 Tbsp
    light brown sugar
  • 1-1/2
    chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, chopped

How To Make sweet-n-spicy pork ribs

    Heat broiler. Sprinkle ribs w/ a little salt and pepper. Place ribs on a rack, then on to a broiler pan. Broil 5" from heat for 10 mins, turning once. This will give them a nice crisp taste, almost the same as griling them.

    Place ribs in slow cooker. In bowl stir together chili sauce, preserves, brown sugar and chile peppers. Pour sauce over ribs. Cover, cook on low for 6 hrs, or as I prefer on high for 3-1/2 hrs.

    Place ribs on a platter, skim fat from sauce in cooker. Place sauce in a gravy bowl and serve w/ ribs.
