Ingredients For sweet and sticky asian pork ribs

  • MARINADE
  • 1/2 c
    soy sauce
  • 1/4 c
    apricot preserves
  • 1/2 c
    dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 c
    shaoxing wine or sherry
  • 2 Tbsp
    sriracha sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    rice vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp
    grated ginger
  • 6 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 lg
    rack of pork ribs cut into sections.
  • SAUCE
  • 1/2 c
    each apricot jam & ketchup
  • drippings from the ribs

How To Make sweet and sticky asian pork ribs

    Mix the marinade ingredients together. Add the ribs and let marinate overnight. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place the ribs and the marinade in a baking pan and cover with foil. Bake for 1 hour 10 minutes. Remove from the oven.

    Remove the ribs to a plate. Raise the heat of the oven to 400 degrees. Strain the pan drippings through a fine mesh strainer into a grease separator. Separate the grease back into the baking pan. Stir in the 1/2 cup apricot jam and ketchup. Add the ribs to the baking pan and place back into the oven for 15 minutes. Turn the ribs and cook 15 more minutes. Remove from oven Place ribs on a serving dish.

    Strain the drippings again through a fine mesh strainer into a saucepan. Bring to a boil on stove top and reduce to simmer and simmer 10 minutes to reduce. Brush over the ribs and serve
