Ingredients For stir-fried pork and leeks

1 lblean pork

1 bunchleeks

2 clovegarlic, minced

3 Tbsppeanut oil

1/2 tspsalt

a few drops of sesame oil

1/2 cchicken broth

2 Tbspsoy sauce
-
2 Tbspdry sherry
-
1 tspsugar

dash of white pepper

1 Tbspcornstarch
How To Make stir-fried pork and leeks

1Dice pork, diagonally across the grain into bite size pieces. On a clean cutting board slice leeks (white and light green parts only).

2Heat oil. Add salt, then garlic, and brown lightly. Add pork and leeks. Stir fry until golden (about 2 minutes)

3Mix cornstarch with chicken broth. Stir in broth mixture and heat quickly, then cook, covered,. 2 to 3 minutes over medium heat.

4. Meanwhile, combine soy sauce, sherry, sugar, pepper and sesame oil; then add and cook, stirring, 2 minutes more.

5Serve over hot cooked rice.
