This was a favorite dish of mine growing up and recently just found the recipe again and thought I'd share it....its absolutely delicious! *tip* This dish can be made a day in advance and left to marinate, giving a richer flavor to the pork.

Ingredients For steamed five spice pork

1 Tbspoil

4 clovegarlic, minced

1 lbpork flap/side pork ,cut into 1 inch cubes

1 tspfive spice powder
-
1/4 ccoriander root/cilantro, minced

1/2 tspwhite pepper

1/4 csweet soy sauce
-
2 Tbsplight soy sauce

1/4 cfish sauce (found in asian markets or your local grocery store)

3 Tbspsugar or brown sugar

2 cwater
-
8hard boiled eggs, peeled and cooled, whole
How To Make steamed five spice pork

1Heat a large saucepan and add the oil and garlic. cook for one minute on medium. Add the pork and stir. Add the remaining ingredients, making sure to leave the eggs whole.

2Covr and simmer for 15 minutes until the pork is tender. Remove to serving bowls and serve with freshly steamed Jasmine rice.
