  • 1 1/2 c
    lean ham, diced
  • 1 Tbsp
    margarine
  • 1 Tbsp
    oil
  • 2 md
    carrots, diced
  • 1 md
    potato, diced
  • 1 md
    onion, diced
  • 4 c
    water
  • 2 c
    chicken broth, low fat, low sodium

How To Make split pea soup with ham

  • 1
    Saute onion in butter and oil until golden. Place onion and the rest of the ingredients in a slow cooker. Cover. Cook on medium for 8-10 hours. Serve with baguette rolls.
