Spamburgers were such a big treat for me when I was growing up. They are such a wonderful time saver and are fairly filling. NOTE: The lunchmeat might be a little high in sodium for those who have to be on a restricted diet. Also, ham can be in place of Spam. :)

Ingredients For spamburgers

  • 1 can
    spam, cubed
  • 8 oz
    colby cheese, cubed
  • 1 sm
    onion, chopped
  • 4
    hamburger buns
  • margarine

How To Make spamburgers

  • 1
    Set oven to broil, but leave rack in center. Mix together in a bowl: 1 can of Spam luncheon meat(cubed), 1) 8 ounce package of colby cheese (cubed) and 1 small onion, chopped.

    Slice or open pre-sliced buns and place on a cookie sheet (open face). Butter and mound mixture on each.

    Broil for 4-5 minutes or until cheese is melted and bread is toasted. Enjoy! :)
