Ingredients For south of the border pork chops & rice

6pork chops

1 tspsalt

3/4 crice, uncooked

1/2 pkgtaco seasoning mix

8 oztomato sauce
-
1 1/2 cwater
-
1/2 cshredded monterrey jack cheese

1 mdgreen bell pepper, cut in 1/2 inch rings
How To Make south of the border pork chops & rice

1Season pork chops with salt and brown on both sides in veg. oil in a large skillet.

2Sprinkle uncooked rice around pork chops. Combine taco seasoning, tomato sauce and water and pour over pork chops and rice.

3Cover pan with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 - 1 1/4 hours.

4Remove pork chops from oven 10 minutes before done. Sprinkle with cheese and green bell pepper rings. Recover and continue cooking.
