I'm finding a lot of really great recipes in my mother's nice little 80 page pocket sized Crock-Pot Cook Book -- which appears to have come with the appliance she bought in the 70's. Not like the dozen recipes you get now-a-days. This one sounds really good... I have not tried it, but I think I may in the not distant future. This recipe is for a 4 qt slow cooker, reduce quantities for smaller one, and increase for larger. The cooking times remain the same.
