This is one of my families favorite recipes for beans. I got the recipe from a flyer a few years ago.

Ingredients For slow cooker chalupa

1 lbdry pinto beans
-
3 lbpork roast
-
2 clovegarlic, minced
-
1 Tbspcumin
-
1 Tbsporegano, dried
-
2 Tbspchili powder
-
salt or to taste
-
4 ozcanned green chilies, chopped

water
How To Make slow cooker chalupa

1Cover bean with water and soak overnight.

2Place roast in slow cooker. Add rest of the ingredients--including the beans and their soaking water, add more water to cover ingredients.

3Cook on high 1 hour, then 6 hours on low.

4Remove meat and shred--return to cooker and cook 1 more hour.
