This a recipe my dad would make for a Sunday dinner. He always made something big and special for Sundays, mainly because we were poor and couldn't afford to eat like that everday, lol.

Ingredients For slow-cooked pork chops w/ gravy and potatoes

6bone-in pork chops

2 Tbspbutter
-
1 Tbspcanola oil
-
salt and pepper to taste

flour for dredging

4medium red potatoes, sliced w/ skins on

1 lgonion, thinly sliced

2 tspminced garlic
-
110.75 oz can fat-free, condensed cream of mushroom soup

2 cbeef broth
-
1 tspdried thyme
-
2 tspdried parsley for garnish

1 pkgdried onion gravy mix pouch
How To Make slow-cooked pork chops w/ gravy and potatoes

1Heat butter and oil in lg skillet over medium heat. Season chops w/ salt and pepper. Dredge chops in flour. Brown chops on both sides in skillet.

2Add potatoes and onions to slow-cooker. Place chops on top of poataoes and onions.

3Top chops w/ remaining ingredients except for parsley. Cover, cook on low for about 4 hrs, or until pork is tender. Garnish w/ parsley. Ladle chops w/ gravy.
