My Grandsons love shake n' bake anything so during their last visit I made them my homemade version and they loved it, gnawing them right down to the bone. Being a cancer survivor, I taught myself how to make homemade versions of this popular coating that my family enjoys.

Ingredients For shake n' bake pork chops

  • 1 1/2 c
    panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 c
    seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp
    garlic sea salt
  • 1 tsp
    smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 7-8
    bone-in pork chops

How To Make shake n' bake pork chops

  • 1
    Combine the first 6 ingredients in a ziploc bag. Fill a bowl full of water and take each chop and dip in the water then shake in the coating. Place on a greased tinfoil lined baking sheet. Let them sit for 10 minutes.

    Bake in a 400 degree oven for 15 minutes, turn the chops over and bake for 10 more minutes.
