My momma has always made this since I can remember. This is really good with blackeyed peas, coleslaw, and sweet tea. It would also be really good for a brunch.

Ingredients For sausage rice casserole

1 lbmild pork sausage
-
1 1/2 ccooked rice
-
1 cancream of chicken or mushroom soup
-
1 mdchopped onion
-
1/4 cmilk
-
shredded cheddar cheese
How To Make sausage rice casserole

1Brown onion and sausage. Drain. Add rice, soup, and milk. Pour into casserole dish. Top with cheddar cheese.

2Bake at 350* for 15-20 minutes.

3(we always used cream of mushroom which is better to me but if you don't like mushrooms, use cream of chicken)
