Mom hated to cook. But this was an easy go to for her. My kids loved it. Easy almost quick lol but easy! Filling warmth You can sub out the nuts. Daughter and I can't eat almonds so I chop walnuts in place. Or omit if ya can't do nuts

Ingredients For sausage rice casserole

1 lbbulk pork sausage

1 1/2 crice, uncooked

3 1/3 cchicken stock

1onion diced
-
1 calmonds, slivered

1 stalkcelery diced

1 tsprosemary and thyme
How To Make sausage rice casserole

1Cook sausage

2In casserole dish ..Mix onion, celery , rice and chicken stock ( can sub same amount of water and a couple bullion cubes ) thyme and rosemary

3Add cooked sausage and nuts and mix.

4Cover and place in preheated 350° oven for 45 minutes.

5Uncover cook 10 more minutes . Remove from oven and stir. Serve.
