Found this recipe on letthebakingbeginblog.com. I really enjoyed this simple, tasty meal. I would have used more peppers, had I thought my children would have eaten it!

Ingredients For sausage pepper fettuccine skillet

  • 8-12 oz
    fettuccini
  • 2 c
    chopped bell peppers
  • 3/4 c
    diced onion
  • 2 c
    sliced sausage (i used turkey kielbasa & italian sausage)
  • 1/2 c
    chopped parsley
  • 3/4 c
    heavy cream
  • 1 c
    chicken broth
  • 1 Tbsp
    chopped garlic
  • 1/2 c
    cherry tomatoes, cut in half
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil

How To Make sausage pepper fettuccine skillet

    Cook pasta according to directions.
  • 2
    Heat oil over high heat, add sausage, peppers and onions cook until soft.

    Add chicken broth and the cream.
  • 4
    Add drained pasta, parsley and garlic. Stir to combine and simmer on medium until the sauce is thickened and coats the pasta.

    Season to taste and top with cherry tomatoes.
