Ingredients For sausage mac supper

  • 1/2 lb
    smoked kielbasa (or polish sausage), sliced 1/4-inch thick
  • 1 sm
    onion, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    celery, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 8-oz can
    tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp
    chili powder
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper
  • 2 c
    cooked elbow macaroni
  • 1/4 c
    shredded cheddar cheese

How To Make sausage mac supper

  • 1
    In a large skillet, brown sausage over medium heat; remove and keep warm.

    Drain drippings. In the same skillet, saute the onion, celery and green pepper in butter until tender.

    Add the tomato sauce, chili powder and pepper; mix well.
  • 4
    Stir in macaroni and sausage; heat through.
  • 5
    Sprinkle with cheese; cook until cheese is melted.
