Ingredients For saucy slow-cooker ribs

  • 4 lb
    country-style bone-in ribs
  • 2 tsp
    salt, divided
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 1 c
    packed light brown sugar
  • 1 c
    apple butter
  • 1 c
    ketchup
  • 1/2 c
    lemon juice
  • 1/2 c
    orange juice
  • 1 Tbsp
    steak sauce
  • 1 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 tsp
    minced garlic from a jar
  • 1/2 tsp
    worcestershire sauce

How To Make saucy slow-cooker ribs

  • 1
    Cut ribs and trim of any fat. Sprinkle 1 tsp salt over ribs.

    In bowl, stir together remaining salt, onion, and remaining ingredients. Pour 1/2 of onion mix into slow-cooker.
  • 3
    Place ribs over sauce in cooker. Pour remaining sauce over ribs. Cook on high 6-7 hrs, or until ribs are tender and falling off the bone.
