This was my first ever attempt to make pork chops. I remember that when I was a kid my dad made something similar and it was fantastic, so I thought I would give it a try. I hope you all enjoy!

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Easy, easy, easy (did I mention it's easy?) weeknight meal. The marinade adds a nice, tangy flavor to the pork chops. The sweet and spicy peppers on top add even more flavor. Pepper jack cheese gives the chops a nice kick. Very tasty!

How To Make sammi's italian pork chops

  • 1
Marinate pork chops in Italian dressing and refrigerate for 1 hour. I used the Italian dressing packet that you mix with water, oil and vinegar. (I think that this is the best tasting dressing.)
  • 2
Slice peppers into long thin strips and saute with chopped jalapeno (I left a couple large jalapeno slices to place on top), oil and garlic.
  • 3
Cook pork chops in skillet (about 5-6 mins each side) until brown and no longer pink inside.
  • 4
Place pork chops on plate and top with the garlic, peppers and jalapeno mix. Add a slice of pepper jack cheese on top of pork chop before placing pepper mix for an added cheesy flavor. Serve with potatoes and veggies!
