This recipe was given to me by a close friend and I have in turn been asked to pass it along. To me it's the best chili I've had! Hope you enjoy it.

Ingredients For rich and spicy chili

1 1/2 lbground beef

1 1/2 lbbulk pork sausage

2 lgonions, chopped

1 lggreen bell pepper

3 clovegarlic, crushed

3- 14 ozcans whole tomatoes, undrained and chopped

2 cwater
-
1/2 ccatsup
-
3 Tbspchili seasoning packet

1 Tbspchili powder
-
2 tspground cumin
-
1- 14 ozcan pinto beans, undrained

1- 6 ozcan tomato paste
-
1- 14 ozcan beef broth
-
1 Tbspsugar
-
1/4 tspred pepper
How To Make rich and spicy chili

1Combine beef and sausage in large dutch oven. Cook until brown, stirring to crumble; drain.

2Add onion and remaining ingredients, except beans, and stir well. Cover and simmer over low heat 2 1/2 hours, stirring frequently. Stir in beans and cook for 30 more minutes. Enjoy!
