Ingredients For ribs with onion sauce

4 lbs. pork spareribs, cut in serving pieces

2 cups sliced onion

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 t. oil

1/4 cup vinegar
-
1/4 cup chili sauce
-
3 t. brown sugar
-
2 t. lemon juice
-
2 t. worcestershire

1 t. dry mustard
How To Make ribs with onion sauce

1Roast ribs, meaty side down in shallow roasting pan at 450 for 30 minutes. Drain off fat. Turn ribs meaty side up.

2Meanwhile, cook onion and garlic in hot oil until tender. Add remaining ingredients, 1/2 cup water and 1 1/2 t. salt. Simmer 10 minutes. Pour sauce over ribs.

3Reduce oven temperature to 350. Bake ribs about 1 1/2 hours or until tender. Baste occasionally with sauce. If sauce gets too thick, add more water. Serves 4 to 6
