Found this recipe when i was going through my. recipe catalog. This is great to start in the morning and easy enough when you come home from work. I like to serve this with steamed or stir fryed (lemon & ginger) veggies and fluffy rice!

Ingredients For ribs oriental style

  • 4 lb
    lean pork spareribs
  • 1/2 c
    hoisin sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    rice vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    oyster sauce
  • 1/2 tsp
    five-spice powder
  • 1 clove
    garlic, minced

How To Make ribs oriental style

    Cut spareribs into serving pieces and place in a single layer in a shallow glass dish. In a small bowl, stir together all remaining ingredients. Pour over ribs, cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours or up to 24 hours.

    Transfer ribs with any marinade to a shallow foil-lined baking dish and roast, uncovered, in a 400 degree oven for 10 mins. Reduce heat to 350 and continue roasting a further 1 hour and 15 mins or until tender, turning and basting occasionally.
