Ingredients For pot-roasted pork

5 lbpork roast, loin end

salt to taste

pepper to taste

1garlic clove, minced

2onions, sliced
-
2bay leaves
-
1clove
-
1 chot water

2 Tbspsoy sauce
How To Make pot-roasted pork

1Rub pork roast with salt and pepper.

2Make tiny slits in the meat and insert slivers of garlic.

3Place roast in broiler pan and broil 15-20 minutes to remove excess fat.

4Put 1 sliced onion in the bottom of the crockpot.

5Add browned pork roast and remaining onion and other ingredients.

6Cover and cook on low until done, about 10 hours.

7To thicken gravy: Remove roast to serving platter.

8Blend 2 tablespoons cornstarch with 2 tablespoons water to form a smooth paste.

9Set crockpot on high and pour in the paste.

10Stir well and let it come to a boil, about 15 minutes, or until thickened.
