Pork steaks basted with a sweet, slightly spicy honey-ginger sauce are slow-cooked in the oven to tender, fall-off-the-bone perfection. They are so easy to make, virtually foolproof, and loved by family and friends.

Ingredients For pork steaks

  • 4
    bone-in pork steaks
  • 3 Tbsp
    honey
  • 2 Tbsp
    worcestshire sauce
  • 1/4 c
    low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh ginger
  • 1/2 c
    ketchup
  • 1/2 c
    pineapple juice
  • 1 Tbsp
    chili sauce (Sambal Oelek)

How To Make pork steaks

    Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

    Brown the pork steaks on the grill or in a cast iron skillet with a bit of oil. Put the pork steaks in a single layer in a large pan.

    Whisk the honey, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, ginger, ketchup, pineapple juice, and chili sauce. Baste the pork chops with a third of the sauce.

    Cover and bake for 45 minutes. Then baste again, cover, and cook for another 45 minutes. Baste one more time, cover, and cook until tender about 10-30 minutes.
