Ingredients For pork roast with plum sauce

2 Tbspbutter

4 lbboneless pork loin roast, trimmed of excess fat

3-6 clovegarlic, finely chopped

1 cdry sherry or chicken stock

2 Tbspworcestershire sauce

1 Tbspmustard, ground

1 tspthyme, dried
-
1 tspground ginger
-
salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cplum jam or jelly
How To Make pork roast with plum sauce

1Heat the butter in a skillet over moderate heat and brown the pork on all sides.

2Transfer to a slow cooker.

3Mix the remaining ingredients except the plum jelly and pour over the pork.

4Cook covered on low until the pork is tender, 7 to 9 hours.

5Transfer the pork to a serving platter and skim off and discard the fat from the pork juices.

6Stir the jelly into the juices and cook on high for 15 minutes. Slice the pork and spoon the sauce on top.
