Ingredients For pork chops with rice

4-6pork chops, boneless

1 Tbspvegetable oil

1 canchicken and rice soup

1/4 tspsalt
-
1/4 tspblack pepper
-
1/4 tspgarlic powder

2 canwater, hot

1/2 ccorn starch
How To Make pork chops with rice

1Coat a large skillet with oil and heat. Season pork chops and brown both sides in pan.

2Add the can of soup and water, bring to a boil, then lower heat to a simmer.

3Simmer over low to med heat for one hour.

4Remove chops from pan and place on a serving platter.

5Add corn starch to cold water and mix well. I use a large glass for this.

6Bring soup mixture back to a rolling boil, stirring constantly add corn starch a little at a time until it makes a gravy.

7Pour a little gravy over the pork chops. Serve with mashed potatoes or a bed of rice.
