Ingredients For pork chops with low-fat mustard-cream sauce

  • 4
    boneless center-cut pork chops
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 1/2 c
    fat-free, reduced sodium chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    dijon mustard
  • 1/3 c
    fat-free half & half or fat-free evaporated milk

How To Make pork chops with low-fat mustard-cream sauce

    Sprinkle pork chops on both sides with salt and pepper. Brown in 1 tbsp. oil over medium-high heat. Remove from pan and set aside.

    Lower temp and add chicken broth to the skillet and add dijon mustard and cream. Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly. Return chops to sauce and continue simmering until chops are cooked through.

    Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
