Pork chops too mouth watering to pass by! The pork, apples and raisins are a perfect combination and will really please your palate! This is such an impressive dish and it is so easy and quick to make.

Ingredients For pork chops with apple raisin sauce

  • 4
    apples, cored, peeled and cubed
  • 1 c
    jam, any flavor (peach/apricot)
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 4 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1 c
    golden raisins
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/3 c
    maple syrup
  • 4 large
    thick center cut loin chops
  • 4 Tbsp
    good olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp
    black pepper

How To Make pork chops with apple raisin sauce

    Add cubed apples to medium sauce pan. Stir in water, brown sugar, raisins, jam, cinnamon, maple syrup or jam and salt.

    Place sauce pan over medium heat and cook until tender about ten minutes.

    Season pork chops and put in a skillet with hot olive oil and add the Worcestershire sauce.

    Cook for 6-7 minutes per side. Do not over cook, only until just done in middle of the chop or the meat will be dry and tough.

    When chops are browned and almost done, add the apple mixture to the skillet and simmer for two minutes.

    Place the pork chops onto platte3r, top with the raisin mixture and drizzle any sauce left in the pan over the top of the chops!
