Ingredients For pork chops w/ apples and sweet potatoes

  • 6
    3/4 inch cut pork chops
  • all purpose flour
  • 1/4 c
    bacon drippings
  • 1 md
    onion chopped
  • 1 c
    apple juice
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 4 md
    apples,peeled and sliced
  • 4 md
    sweet potatoes,peeled and cut
  • dash
    salt and pepper

How To Make pork chops w/ apples and sweet potatoes

    Coat chops in flour. Brown both sides in drippings. Place chops in a dish. Saute onions in skillet and cook until tender. Add apple juice and worcestershire sauce and bring to a boil. Stir!!. Remove from heat. Arrange apples and sweet potatoes on top of chops. Sprinkle with salt and pepper as you layer. Pour juice mixture over everything and cover tightly. Bake 1 1/2 hours on 350.
