6pork chops - bone-in

1/2 tspsalt

3/4 cuncooked rice

1/2 pkgtaco seasoning

1 can8-oz. can tomato sauce

1 1/2 cwater

1/2 ccheddar cheese, shredded

1 mdgreen bell pepper, cut into 1/2 inch rings
How To Make pork chops mexican-style

1Season chops with salt and brown in a large skillet that is oven safe.

2Spread rice evenly around and in between the pork chops. Meanwhile, combine tomato sauce with the taco seasoning and water and mix well.

3Pour tomato mixture over the pork and rice. Add green pepper rings over the pork chops. Cover skillet with a lid or foil and back in oven at 350 degrees for 1 - 1 1/4 hours.

4Remove pork chops from oven and sprinkle cheddar cheese over chops. Replace lid to allow the cheese to melt.
