I saw a similar recipe in a book, but did not have all of the ingredients it called for. I then substituted what I had on hand.

Ingredients For pork chops deluxe

4bone-in sirloin pork chops

2 Tbspwater
-
14 1/2 ozdiced tomatoes (fresh or from can)

1 cancondensed golden mushroom soup, undiluted

1 mdonion, thinly sliced
-
2 tspground mustard
-
1/2 lbfresh baby portobello mushrooms, sliced

3 chot cooked rice
-
2 Tbspminced fresh parsley
How To Make pork chops deluxe

1Coat skillet with cooking spray; brown pork chops on both sides. Remove and set aside. Add water, scraping bottom of the skillet to loosen any browned bits.

2Drain tomatoes, reserving juice; set tomatoes aside. Stir in the juice, soup, onion, mustard, mushrooms and salt if desired to skillet.

3Return chops to skillet. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until a meat thermometer reads 160°. Stir in tomatoes; heat through. Combine rice and parsley. Serve the pork chops and sauce with rice.
