I found this in my Grandmother's cookbook,all hand written,I also remember eating this so good,like a comfort food to me.

Ingredients For pork chop casserole

4pork chops, double-thick
-
2 to 3tart apples
-
4sweet potatoes
-
1/4 tspsalt and pepper

1/4 cwater
How To Make pork chop casserole

1Wipe off chops, place in a deep covered casserole dish.Peel and slice apples, place on chops.Sprinkle with salt and pepper.Slice sweet potatoes 1/2"thick and put on top of apples.Salt and pepper,add water.Cover tightly and bake 1 hour at 400 degrees.Uncover till browned on top.You can use regular white potatoes in place of sweet potatoes.This is a good one-dish meal.They don't seem it eith to tire of it either.
