We really enjoy this on a cold day. It is what we call a comfort meal. It is also easy to make and fills the tummy :)

Ingredients For polish kraut and apples

1 can14 oz sauerkraut rinsed and drained

1 pkg16 oz smoked polish sasuage or kielbasa cut into chunks

3 mdtart apples peeled and cut into eights
-
1/2 cpacked brown sugar
-
1/2 tspcaraway seeds
-
1/8 tsppepper
-
3/4 capple juice
How To Make polish kraut and apples

1Place half of the sauerkraut in an ungreased slow cooker. Top with sausage, apples, brown sugar, caraway seeds, and pepper. Top with remaining sauerkraut. Pour apple juice over all. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until apples are tender.
