Ingredients For pineapple upside- down ham loaf

  • 3 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1/3 c
    packed light brown sugar
  • canned pineapple slices
  • stemless maraschino cherries (optional)
  • 1 lb
    (4 cups) ground cooked ham
  • 2/3 lb
    freshly ground raw pork
  • 2 c
    bread crumbs
  • 2 lg
    eggs,beaten
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    dry mustard

How To Make pineapple upside- down ham loaf

    Melt butter with brown sugar and place in bottom of 8"x8"x2" pan.

    Place layer of pineapple slices (with a stemless cherry in the middle of each if desired)on top of sugar mixture.

    Mix together remaining ingredients,and spread evenly on top of fruit.

    Bake at 350 for 1&1/2 hours. Turn out onto a platter and cut into squares.
