You can make the egg noodles yourself or buy them fresh in a supermarket. These noodles are garlicy, sweet and spicy.

Ingredients For oyster sauce, garlic, chinese egg noodles w pork

  • 8 oz
    fresh chinese egg noodles
  • 3 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    rice wine
  • 1 tsp
    sesame oil
  • 2 tsp
    cornstarch
  • 8 oz
    ground pork
  • 1 Tbsp
    peanut oil
  • 4
    scallions sliced on a diagonal
  • 6 clove
    garlic minced
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped red chilies
  • 3 Tbsp
    oyster sauce
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • fresh cilantro for garnish

How To Make oyster sauce, garlic, chinese egg noodles w pork

    Cook the fresh Chinese noodles in boiling salted water for 3 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.

    Mix the soy sauce, rice wine, sesame oil and cornstarch together and mix so there are no lumps. Add the ground pork and mix well. Let marinate for 10 minutes.

    In a large skillet or wok add the peanut oil. When it starts smoking add the pork and cook until no longer pink. Add the oyster sauce, garlic, scallions, and red chilies. Stir fry one minutes. Add the noodles and sprinkle the sugar over top and mix until the noodles are warmed through. Place in a bowl and garnish with cilantro
