oven fried chicken tenders

i came up with this recipe after readin several right here on JAP ..this can be used not only for chicken tenders but legs,thighs, as well as any fish,even pork chops please give it a try...

Ingredients For oven fried chicken tenders

  • 12 md
    chicken tenders
  • 1 bottle
    bacon ranch dressing[small]
  • 2 tsp
    liquid smoke flavoring,divided
  • 8 oz
    sour cream, lite
  • 1 jar
    real bacon bits,divided
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried celery flakes
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried chives
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp
    dried onions,crushed
  • 1/2 box
    bacon flavored crackers[i used nabisco]
  • veggie oil,to cover bottom of bakin pan

How To Make oven fried chicken tenders

    night before: take 2 chicken tenders per person[3 if big eaters] and put in zip bag....add 1/2 the liquid smoke... massage so all tenders get some put in fridge overnight

    in lg zip bag pour bacon dressing,sour cream,other 1/2 liquid smoke and 1/2 the bacon bites mix well set aside til cracker mix is ready

    pre heat oven to 375 sprat cookie sheet with non stick spray then pour oil onto pan tilt back and forth to cover pan well add oil a little at a tome to jus cover set aside

    put all the rest of stuff in food processor pulse til crackers fine like powder... put it in lg zip bag

    now take 2-3 tenders at a time and put in dressin mix coat well put in crackers mix put on cookie sheet... do all... repeat this step[double dip each tender]

    put in oven bake 20 min turn over cook til done bout 15 min more til juice runs clear not pink.... now ENJOY.... these are great with sweet taters fries and tossed salad.....
